Oh, yes! It's official. I am the luckiest girl in the world. I FOUND A FOUR LEAF CLOVER. (Now, you must imagine me singing that phrase over and over all night long with great joy to my own little tune. However, my children will tell you it's to no tune at all, but they just don't appreciate how lucky they are to be the child of someone who found a four leaf clover.)
Really. How cool is it that I found a four leaf clover?
I was out trimming the weeds and I almost trimmed the whole patch, but then I thought about all the years I spent looking for four leaf clovers when I was a child. (Do any of my other Zionsville friends remember searching around the elementary school looking for 4-leaf clovers?) Just before I plowed them down, I thought "Maybe the kids will enjoy looking for 4-leaf clovers since it is almost St Patrick's Day. Just about the then, I saw it!
I was so thrilled I dropped the weed whacker and plucked it right up!
Not only am I the luckiest Mom in the world cause I have great kids, and a lucky wife cause I have a very thoughtful sweetheart, and a lucky woman who lives in a land of many freedoms, and a lucky daughter with "goodly parents" who taught me the most important things in life, and a lucky friend with so many amazing friends, and ....
well, my lucky list could go on and on and on ... but now ...
well,
I FOUND A FOUR LEAF CLOVER! I FOUND A FOUR LEAF CLOVER! I FOUND A FOUR LEAF CLOVER!
And, yes, David, and Deborah, and Johnathon, I just might keep singing that same line for the next 20 years. :)
