Thanks, Nana!

My Mom came out to help with the second surgery.  It sure is a blessing to have good parents that are willing to make sacrifices.  I'm blessed with such parents.  My kids were really looking forward to Nana arriving and although Papa couldn't come as well, we know it was a sacrifice for him to have Nana here and appreciate him as well.

We hope you enjoyed your ride, Nana!

My Family's Visit

It's been really great to just visit with everyone!

Mom brought us a bunch of veggies from her garden, including a purple bell pepper.

Jason and Dwight talked tech, super intelligent stuff.

New Baby

We had a new baby on Monday, October 26th, 1998. Grandma Mann and Echelle came out for 2 weeks to help with the kids. Then Nana came. We had lots of fun with our visitors! We're thankful they were so generous with their time.

Our Family Update

This first photo was taken of our family in 1973.  The picture was taken by the tree in front of my Grandpa and Grandma Bryant's house.  We were there for a celebration of their 50th Anniversary.

My mother made these pink dresses for us.  My mother is a very talented seamstress, as was her mother, and as is my daughter.  I don't know if it skipped a generation or not, or if I just haven't taken the time to develop that particular talent.  The things I have made have always turned out beautiful.  I just haven't spent as much time as those talented women have developing their talent in sewing.

Some day I would like to develop that talent.
