Whew!

I need to leave to go teach at an Employment Workshop; however, I wanted to let you all know that I'm feeling good today. My last treatment was yesterday and they got the drugs started with just one poke! Whewhoo! My nurse, Laura, was so sweet and took such good care of me. I know it must be awful to have to place an IV on someone with belligerent veins like mine. I appreciate how hard she worked to find the vein that would let her get the IV placed on the first try.

Today, as most Thursdays have been throughout the treatments, has been what Dwight calls my "Manic Day". I have felt great all day! It's such a blessing to recognize when one feels great! (How would I have ever really appreciated feeling great if I hadn't had days when I didn't feel great?)

I did have 2 biopsies today. One of the spot on my leg. It's been there for a while and we suspect it's just scar tissue; however, just to be safe, we decided to biopsy it. The other spot is a repeat of one of the spots on my back. I'm hopeful that it will come back cancer free. It's a little more substantive than they'd like it to be right now. So, better to know, right?

If you ever need a Dermatologist I know a great guy. Actually, I know two. So, if you're in Indiana or here, I can give you the name of a great Dermatologist.

I hope you all are well. I better run. Thank you all for your love, support, and prayers! You've all made this cancer journey seem soooo much easier!
