New home

This month we moved into a house in north Plano. Our address is 2050 Camelot Drive, Allen, Texas. We are now in the Plano 6th ward. We are just north of Hedgecoax Drive.

Annual Snow

Since we have been in Texas, it seems we have one snow each year.
We've learned in the past that if we want to play in the snow, we must get bundled up at the sight of the first flake.It wasn't much snow, but we sure had fun!

Happy Halloween!

I made both of the boys costumes. I did it to save money, but it ended up costing more than it would have to purchase costumes. But, they were super adorable!!

We went to our church's Trunk or Treat, but by the time we got there the candy was pretty much gone. I had heard the local malls had trick or treating so we went there. It was extremely empty and our kids basically had the entire malls attention. We decided that while we were there we might as well get pictures of the munchkins. This was probably one of my favorite halloweens ever.

This picture was taken in our 3rd apartment in Dallas. I started knitting while we lived there and we did LOTS of crafts at that table.


This is also where that sweet little girl (Jessica) filled Jacob's toothbrush with clear liquid soap. Shame on her!

I quit working shortly after David was born. It was a huge adjustment, but I had a lot of fun with the kids.

New Baby

We had a new baby on Monday, October 26th, 1998. Grandma Mann and Echelle came out for 2 weeks to help with the kids. Then Nana came. We had lots of fun with our visitors! We're thankful they were so generous with their time.

Breakfast at the club house

In 1998 we moved from Orem, Utah to Richardson, Texas. Both Dwight and I had taken jobs with Micrografx. We moved into a really nice apartment complex called The Homes of Prairie Springs.

Every Saturday they served a full hot breakfast: muffins, doughnuts, eggs, bacon, juice, etc. It was a lot of fun to sleep in late and then take the kids over for a fun meal ... with no clean up required.

Back to pre-pregnancy size

I love this picture! Not only does it show off just how cute David was/is, but it also remind me that I looked good just 6 months after having a baby! But, I really am not saying that to boast. I worked hard to firm things back up! Thanks, Dwight, for always helping with the kids so that I could work out.
